Brace yourself Cape Town, e-tolls are headed our way
CARmag is reporting that Capetonians can expect e-tolls to be set up on the N1, N2 and N7. It is reported that work as already started on the N7, “The company has already started working on N7 and carried out upgrades between Melbosstrand and Philadelphia. The 33-month project has cost R330 million.”
It is also being reported that the fees us Capetonians will pay will be almost three times that of Gauteng which is 29 c/km. We will be coughing up 84,59 c/km.

N1
Joostenbergvlakte
Huguenot Tunnel, (the existing one) and ramp plazas on 101
Sandhills
N2
Kuils River (between Swartklip Interchange and Somerset West)
Firlands
Botriver with a ramp plaza on R43.
