Gauteng Motor Show just around the corner!
This coming weekend, (25th & 26th July) the 2015 Gauteng Motor Show explodes onto the Rock Raceway in Brakpan. The event will be featuring Round 6 of the SupaDrift National Championship 2015 – a spectacle not to be missed!
Illegal Street Racing will soon be off Cape roads!
The Rock Raceway is also the home circuit of drift fan’s favourite – Clare Vale and she always puts on a great show!
The ‘Liqui-Moly Mustang’ is another crowd favourite and with the numerous motoring attractions planned for the weekend – the venue looks to be packed.
The action is set to take place over three days, starting with some drift practise on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Next up, the qualifying rounds take place on Saturday afternoon and the finals on Sunday afternoon.
Leading up the 2015 Gauteng Motor Show – Clare Vale had the following to say,”The Liqui-Moly team has made some major changes to the car since our last Supadrift event, including changing the all-important gear ratios which have hampered us for some time. We took the car to Namibia for a demo outing in Windhoek, and the improvement in the car was phenomenal.
How autonomous vehicles will change the way we travel!
We’re very excited to be back at one of our favourite tracks for Supadrift, especially as we had such bad luck at last year’s event, where we broke our motor on the qualifying line. I’m sure the Liqui-Moly Mustang will make many new fans at this weekend’s event and we’re looking forward to being part of all the excitement of a major Motor Show!”
