Honda reveils photos of new Jazz
Honda has unveiled photo’s of the next generation Jazz which is due to make its debut at the 2014 Paris Auto show on October 3.
From the photo, you can see the soon-to-be unveiled Honda Jazz is looking bulkier and greatly influence by the larger Civic and Accord models – especially the more purposeful front end.
Honda says the new Jazz will feature a more spacious interior, which will is thanks to an overall increase in length of 15mm, and a wheelbase that’s been enlarged by 30mm. Honda also says this generation’s layout will save space and add more versatility, interior practicality and storage solutions. Honda’s ‘Magic Seats’ will also feature in its new Jazz as well as a new suspension. The new model will also retain the central fuel tank found in the current model.
The third-generation Jazz will be powered by a new 1.3-litre petrol engine, and for the first time a six-speed manual gearbox will be available – which will join the optional CVT automatic transmission, carried over from the previous model. And thanks to a new suspension system, Honda is promising a quieter and more comfortable ride with the new Jazz.
