We should not really be featuring the LEAF – because it’s not available for purchase. Just yet. Nissan hasn’t even confirmed that this electric car will ever be sold here – but we’re convinced that its local launch is imminent. Based on this, and the fact that it’s an exceptional vehicle, we’re including it this year – because we honestly believe that, if you’re in the market for a green car, it’s worth waiting for. It won Europe’s Car of the Year last year – a huge achievement for an electric car (they are generally utilitarian as opposed to pretty).
