The fabulous Fortuner, a runaway success since it was first introduced in South Africa in 2006, has gained a new family member in the form of a powerful 2.5-litre diesel derivative. This firm family favourite – much loved because of the fact that it offers luxury, no-fuss reliability and proven off-road capabilities – has also been restyled. The changes are subtle – the most noticeable are the striking new grille and new clear headlight clusters. The interior has also been tweaked – we really like the new instrument cluster, which is more modern and less fuddy-duddy than the previous one.
