Seven-seaters were big news a decade or so ago; today they have almost become the norm in this segment. But now Toyota has launched the Innova, which takes things a step further: it seats seven or eight (there are two models). Like the Orlando, the Innova’s styling isn’t quite riveting. But it is nevertheless a sensible, practical family car – and we adore the Display Audio system. It comprises a touch-sensitive 15,5cm screen, which is linked to six speakers, and a front-loading CD player with MP3 functionality.
