Two friends turn a van in to a laundromat for homeless people

Two 20-year old friends did something great for homeless people – they turned a van into a laundromat to wash clothes for homeless people.

It’s called the Orange Sky Laundry project, and it all started out with an old van and a generator. But with the help of donations, they were able to secure two washing machines and driers, allowing their van to process 20kg of laundry an hour.

The project was launched a few months ago and is now in its trial period. If the van is successful, the organization might spread throughout Australia.
