FOLLOW IN CLEOPATRA’S FOOTSTEPS!
Kick off in Cairo and visit the phenomenal pyramids of Giza and the inscrutable Sphinx, the planet’s oldest tourist attractions. Then it’s the overnight sleeper train to Aswan, followed by a boat trip to the romantic Philae temple and the legendary Saqqara pyramids. Next day you’ll board your Nile felucca for a two-night voyage down the river, visiting the Temple of Kom Ombo before driving north to Luxor, where the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Karnak will take your breath away. This is ancient Egypt at its best. You’ll return by overnight sleeper train to Cairo; the next day you’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, famed for the treasures of king Tutankhamun. Spend the day exploring or shopping in the souqs of Cairo before heading home the following day.

Check through the finalists in each category in our magazine from page 44 to page 80 and select your favourite car in each category, then click here to cast your vote. You can vote for as many cars as you like and in as many categories as you want. The closing date for voting is 31 July 2016, and the winner of this stunning prize will be notified in August 2016.

Melinda is a motoring journo, author and publisher. She has been writing about cars since 2009, kickstarting her love for wheels as motoring editor for True Love magazine. Currently she’s the motoring columnist for City Press and co-host of The Joy Ride on Kaya FM 95.9.
Janine-Lee van der Post @SpeedQueen
Janine-Lee – who calls herself a ‘petrosexual’ on her Twitter bio – is really, seriously into her cars. She has been writing about them since 2003, and is a motoring content producer over at Wheels24.
Mabuyane Kekana @KekanaMabs
Mabuyane is the co-founder of M&L Media. She is also a motoring presenter for SABC’s Metro FM and Motsweding FM. A former news scribe, Mabuyane has been a motoring journalist and editor for 11 years. She also owns a construction company.
Lindsay Vine-Smyth @LindsayVine8
Lindsay runs South Africa’s only dedicated motoring channel, and is executive producer of Ignition on DStv Channel 189. She has been responsible for everything that goes on the show since its inception in 2008. She is an avid petrol head who sadly had to give up racing her 1977 Mini when she became a mom!
Carri-Anne Jane
Carri-Anne has an unreserved love for all things car. She has contributed to SACF, Tygerberg 104FM, Toyota Zone, Autoweek and TopCar. On Sundays she likes to think Rosberg and Rossi can hear her if she shouts loudly at the TV when an F1 or MotoGP race is in session.

Jeanette, a car and motorcycle fanatic, has been a radio presenter for 16 years. She is the holder of the SA women’s land speed record, winner of the Total Economy Run 2012 petrol category, and currently a presenter for the motoring show Wiele2Wiele on Tygerberg 104FM in Cape Town and Groot FM in Pretoria.

Ané worked as a freelance motoring journalist for Rapport and City Press until Auto Trader offered her a permanent home. She prefers driving cars to pretty much everything else in life.

After a 22-year stint at motoring annual Wheels, where she worked her way up from editorial assistant to executive editor, Liana moved to Car & Leisure Publishing. There, she took on the role of co-publisher of Accelerate magazine and Gears & Gadgets. Liana is now editor and advertising manager of AutoLive.
