Ask just about anyone about Nissan and they’ll answer Micra or bakkie. Only those in the know realise it also produces the massively muscular GT-R that has just been given a host of new tweaks for 2011, including the naughty-but-nice Black Edition with body-hugging Recaro seats. Despite the brutal acceleration and mind-blowing top speed it has a neat auto gearbox that goes into “Save” mode for genteel everyday driving.
