Actress Takes to Twitter as Husband’s Tesla Goes Up in Flames
When Mary McCormack took to Twitter last week it wasn’t to address anything political or to comment on the current situation in America. It turns out that her husband’s Tesla caught fire while in traffic. She included a video of the electric car and described it as an incident that happened ‘out of the blue’ – read on to see more.

Two days later she shared an update saying that they’re currently working with Tesla to establish the cause of the fire.
We are very aware of the seriousness of the situation, and we're just very lucky that our children weren’t in the car. We’re in discussion with Tesla to find out what happened, and we’d like to give them time to come back to us before making a further comment. @Tesla

At this stage the cause of the fire is unknown, but by the sounds of things, it is likely that McCormick’s Twitter feed is worth keep an eye on for updates as to why this all happened.
