Increased Peugeot Citroën Dealerships providing growth and opportunities
June 01 2017 marked the start of an exciting new chapter in the Peugeot Citroën South African story when the company merged with VT Holdings and for the first time began operating under a local management structure.
At the announcement of the Joint venture Managing Director Francisco Gaie, said “With the new developments planned around product, aftersales, parts and pricing the company’s strategy is to increase our market share and strengthen our position in the South Africa market place”
Now just four months after the merger Peugeot Citroën South Africa is re-enforcing its presence with five newly acquired Peugeot dealerships, four of which are under the Trust Auto Group banner.
In addition to these dealerships a dedicated Citroën Service Centre has recently opened in Bryanston, Johannesburg where repairs, services and maintenance are being carried out on all Citroën vehicles.
The new wholly-owned Trust Auto Group Dealerships are situated in Cape Town, Hatfield, Pinetown and Centurion. These are in addition to the 23 Peugeot Citroën independently owned partners in the Group amounting to 28 Dealerships in total countrywide.
The newly opened Peugeot Middelburg also expands the Peugeot brands footprint under the ownership of the Combined Auto Holdings group.
“We are excited about expanding our offering with the introduction of these new dealerships and are confident of earning the continued business of our customers by providing not only quality vehicles but affordable payment terms and excellent service.” says Francisco.
“Each new dealership we open gives us an opportunity to reassure our customers that we are here to stay” he added.
The additional dealerships will service the brand’s sales and aftersales activities to provide the best top quality service to its Peugeot and Citroën customers.
To further bolster our position in the market place, Peugeot Pricing is being addressed with the introduction of the revolutionary new Guaranteed Future Value buy-back program – Motion Finance™ and options are available to include a one-year insurance policy as part of the package when purchasing a Peugeot 208 Active
In addition to this, an affordable graduate finance package designed specifically to help graduates get behind the wheel of their new car – at a payment plan that suits their lifestyle and budget – will commence towards the end of the year.
The Peugeot range has a vehicle to suit almost everyone with the current range consisting of the 208, the 2008 SUV, 3008 SUV Partner and Boxer. The new 308, 5008 SUV and Traveller Combi will be introduced in 2018.
“Our new dealerships meet the highest standards Francisco says. We want to provide the very best experience to all customers walking through our doors and we look forward to building long standing relationships with our customers – past, present and future” he added.
“With the opening of the new Dealerships, the brand is taking a step forward in the renewal of the Peugeot Citroën brand and we are confident that we will further strengthen our position in South Africa.” Francisco said
