Gumtree SA brings super cars and superstar drivers straight to the fans

The Gumtree World Rallycross pits are made for walking! The event will take over Killarney Raceway in just two weeks time, and not only can racing fans look forward to two full days of exhilarating head to head action on the track, they’ll also have the chance to meet their racing heroes in person and view the RX Supercars up close at the Gumtree Pitwalk.

The pit is used to get race cars ready for action and to keep them running during the spectacle. It’s where car parts are pulled, yanked, broken off and replaced in impressively quick time.

The Gumtree Pitwalk will be open to event goers between race heats. Fans can go behind-the-scenes of what it takes to get the cars race-ready, and meet local and international superstar drivers including Ken Block, Sebastien Loeb, Petter Solberg, Mattias Ekstrom, Mark Cronje and Ashleigh Haigh Smith.

Gumtree SA will be giving away fantastic prizes at the pitwalk all weekend, including signed merchandise and exclusive laps around the WRX track.

With thrilling track races, fanzone entertainment, and the Gumtree Pitwalk, this is one event that petrol heads can’t afford to miss!
