Nissan offers Storm Support for vehicles written off in floods
Rosslyn, South Africa, 21 November 2016 – As part of Nissan South Africa’s ongoing commitment to customer care, the company is offering monetary support against the purchase of any new Nissan vehicle to those whose vehicles were written off during the recent devastating storms in Johannesburg.
Nissan Assured Storm Support offers R10,000 towards any vehicle in the Nissan line-up – up to a value of R2 million – to customers affected by the flooding and hail that hit parts of Gauteng during the week of 7 and 11 November, as well as to those who may be affected by future adverse weather conditions.
“Last week’s storms took everyone by surprise and had devastating consequences for drivers who were trapped by the flash floods. The Nissan Assured Storm Support initiative aims to get people back on the roads faster, backed by a customer service programme that is designed to provide a fuss-free ownership experience and makes vehicle ownership as easy and straightforward as possible,” says Xavier Gobille, Managing Director Sales, Marketing and Aftersales Nissan and Sub-Sahara.
All vehicles purchased in November and December will qualify for the Nissan Assured motoring plan, which offers 6 years’ complete peace of mind with one of the best warranty and service plans on the market.
The warranty covers all major mechanical components and service or repair work carried out at an approved Nissan dealership, using genuine Nissan parts. Standard warranty exclusions on wear-and-tear parts such as shock absorbers, brake pads and linings, and the clutch only apply after three years, or when the first 100 000 km of the warranty has expired.

In addition to guaranteeing the mechanical integrity of every Nissan, the Nissan Assured warranty also includes a range of roadside assistance benefits. These benefits include 24-hour roadside and towing assistance, including posting security to your location while you wait. It also includes support if you find yourself stuck with a flat battery, without fuel or even if you lock your keys in your car.
Nissan Assured Storm Support is limited to 200 vehicles for a total investment of R2 million. Proof of storm damage will be required to qualify for the offer. Other terms and conditions apply.
