Porsche is being sued for Paul Walker’s death
A while back the famous Fast and Furious star, Paul Walker, was killed in an unfortunate accident. But it didn’t end there. Now, the widow of Roger Rodas (the wife of the man driving the Porsche Carerra GT, causing the fiery crash that killed actor Paul Walker) has filed a lawsuit against Porsche, saying that the accident was due to mechanical flaws and faulty design.
She stated that:
”The Carrera GT was unsafe for its intended use by reason of defects in its manufacture, design, testing, component and constituents, so that it would not safely serve its purpose”.
Her statement goes against what the investigators found- that the speed alone was what had caused the accident.
The amount of damage the lawsuit is demanding from Porsche is unknown. The question is, can Porsche really be blamed for such an accident? An accident in a car as powerful as a Carerra GT certainly doesn’t have to be the result of any mechanical or design issues. But, after a lady allegedly sued Mcdonalds for her coffee being hot, who knows what can happen in America!?
