Women on Wheels’ top 7 most ridiculous car designs!
Car manufacturers have long been including various special extras and features in their car designs, we take a look at the seven we found most ridiculous!
1. Rolls-Royce Door Umbrella
Since anyone who travels in a Rolls-Royce will likely not survive if they are exposed to some light rain, Rolls-Royce have included an umbrella built into the door!
2. BMW Puddle Light
The BMW logo has been scientifically proven to be the best way to illuminate anything below your opened car door. Must be something about the colours right?
Or maybe it’s just in case people can’t see the logo on the front and back, having a BMW logo shone on the ground whenever you open your door will do the trick!
3. Italdesign Machimoto
It’s like two long motorbikes that have been combined with a car chassis!
Out of all of these car designs, I actually quite like this one! How else could you fit eight people into a vehicle so small! Although that guy at the back doesn’t look too happy about the seating arrangement!
4. Porsche Leather Air Vents
Want to double the purchase price of your Porsche? Well that’s why they have add-ons like these leather air vents!
There’s just something about air flowing through vents covered in leather that makes it … exactly the same?
Would you like your wheels covered in leather too?
5. Isuzu 4200R Built In Fax Machine
Isuzu prides itself in car designs for those who mean serious business and couldn’t possibly miss out on sending a fax because they were busy driving somewhere!
The centre console is in fact a built in fax machine. I think they might have misjudged the longevity of the fax system as a means of communication.
6. Dodge Ram Daytona Wing
Everyone who buys a bakkie is of course buying it for its aerodynamic shape and racing ability. The wings really help streamline the back end of the car.
To be honest I’m surprised all bakkies don’t have this completely useful and practical feature.
7. Mercedes Fake Exhaust Vents
These completely practical exhaust vents are not in fact attached to the exhaust in any way and do absolutely nothing.
Except make people think that your car is so hardcore that it requires two exhaust vents for the amount of awesome that comes out of it.
This concludes Women on Wheels’ top 7 most ridiculous car designs that we could find, hope you enjoyed!
