This is what you can expect at this year’s Johannesburg Motor Show
The Johannesburg Motor Show is gearing up for a great show this year as 2015 marks the auto show’s ten year anniversary.
“Preparations for the show are well underway to ensure a spectacularly successful event” stated Mr Nico Vermeulen, Director of NAAMSA (National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa). “We have introduced a number of new initiatives to refresh the show and ensure that the tenth edition remains one of the world’s leading motor shows”. These initiatives are intended to enhance the value proposition for exhibitors as well as the experience of visitors to the Show.
New introductions to the show is The Galleria celebrating the car as a modern art form. The Galleria features a hall dedicated to Exotic Cars and Supercars displayed in an art gallery environment.
The hall will also accommodate a display of photographic entries from South Africa’s leading motoring photographers. The Galleria also honours artists who dedicate their art to cars and will feature automotive art including sculptures, paintings, wood carvings and notable wire art.
The Johannesburg International Motor Show takes place at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec from Friday 16 – Sunday 25 October 2015 and is the only motor show on the African Continent to be accredited by OICA (Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles).
