Cyclist vs. passenger: who is at fault? [video]
Here we go, another cycling vs. other road user incident. It just seems to never end. But this time, it is perhaps unclear as to who is at fault. An Australian woman, with a camera attached to her bike, cycles through Melbourne in what looks like it could be a cycling lane. A taxi stops and the passenger opens his door and the Australian woman cycles in to it.
The thing is, almost instantly she asks the guy for his details, assuming he is most certainly in the wrong. But if it is not a bike lane and the taxi’s indicator was on, should it be the passenger’s fault altogether?
