Head of Design at Mercedes-Benz wins best interior design award
If you step into a new Mercedes-Benz, it should come as no surprise that the head of design at Mercedes-Benz scooped up the award for the best interior car design award for 2014. The newly-introduced Mercedes-Benz interiors are also gathering accolades from design experts and fans around the world.
The interior of the C-Class W205 was actually designed in Italy, by a team of interior designers which were, until now, used on creating the centre consoles of mostly Mercedes-Benz concept cars, so it’s no wonder that its design is so classy.
The selection process for the best design award was made by a jury consisting of a large amount of motoring journalists from around the world, with the bunch finally voting on Gorden Wagener (the head of design at Mercedes-Benz) to take the award home for Mercedes-Benz.
