Kia unveils new corporate logo

South Korean automotive manufacturer Kia launched its new corporate logo and brand slogan on January 6. The change signifies the manufacturer’s bold transformation and featured a record-breaking fireworks display.

Kia envisions itself as a leader of the future mobility industry and revamped nearly all facets of its business.

The new logo is a symbol of Kia’s new brand purpose and the values it promises to offer customers in the future. It was developed to resemble a handwritten signature – the rhythmical, unbroken line of the logo conveys the automaker’s commitment to bringing moments of inspiration, according to Kia.

While its symmetry is meant to demonstrate confidence.

“The automotive industry is experiencing a period of rapid transformation, and Kia is proactively shaping and adapting to these changes. Our new logo represents our desire to inspire customers as their mobility needs evolve, and for our employees to rise to the challenges we face in a fast-changing industry.”

The skies of Incheon, South Korea were lit up during the unveiling, as 303 pyrodrones launched hundreds of fireworks in a synchronised show to celebrate Kia’s new beginning.
