Kids aged 3 and 5 steal mom’s car to visit Granny (and crash it)
Here’s another reason to make sure you know what your kids are up to at all times:
According to police, a three-year-old and five-year old didn’t make it very far before crashing their mom’s car at an intersection nearby their house in Seattle, Washington.
The siblings planned to drive the SUV to their grandmother’s house for a visit but after approaching the intersection they T-boned a Volvo sedan.
A resident who’d heard the crash said that she’d ran out to the scene when she thought she’d heard some sort of explosion go off, but found other neighbours surrounding two crashed cars.
According to the children, their mother was asleep during the time that they’d stolen the car and crashed. Despite being scared to death, one of the children said that they still wanted go to their Granny’s house.
The Federal Way Police Department later posted images of the crashed SUV to a Facebook page, stating that luckily, no one had been seriously injured:
