This is how a man turned a Dodge Camper into his home
Turning a Dodge Camper into a home is what a young adventurer named Cud Eastbound did this summer when he decided to make one last stop with his old 1977 Dodge Camper in Dawson City, Yukon.
He literally moved into his long time camper in the middle of the woods in Yukon and wants to spend an entire winter there. Temperatures can go as low as -31 degrees Celsius in January.
“I packed/gave away everything I owned, released a new album, left Halifax and went westward on a 2 month cross Canada tour, leading me all the way up to Dawson City Yukon. I toured with my 77 Dodge Camper van, who’s name is Night Danger,” he explains.
The van is continuously being changed and improved, as its owner is learning how to turn it into a home that will offer the proper shelter for the harsh winter to come. He managed to build a wood stove inside and covered the entire vehicle in straw bales, which will keep him from freezing to death in the cold temperatures.
