Mazda 2 Facelift
If you look back at the history of Mazda’s models, what is available now and yet to come, you will realise how much dedication and time is put into each model. The well thought out high-tech features have been added not only for necessity but to create cars that are unique and within budget.
Mazda’s popular B-segment hatchback, the Mazda 2 has arrived with a whole new front-end. It has a more sophisticated design with new Skyactiv-Technology and upgraded i-Activsense safety features.
Mazda won the Women’s World Car Of The Year award in 2019, and stole the hearts of women globally with their Mazda 3 model, proving these vehicles are popular and underrated within the automotive buyers market. It takes one glance to immediately fall in love. Blending in with the new style of its Mazda 3 sibling, the hatchback still has a dynamic style and beauty of its own.
The G-Generation Mazda 2 range will consist of six derivatives based on the Active, Dynamic, Individual, and Hazumi. The interior’s material and various color schemes was chosen to create character and an atmosphere of relaxation and enjoyment for the driver and passengers.
Mazda brought convenience into the hatchback with the availability of the bluetooth hands-free system across the Dynamic range, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, side and curtain airbags, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto as well as Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) for a smoother drive and better handling. Both manual and automatic options will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine.
The new front-seat design offers occupant posture support, enhancing the feeling of control in the car and makes driving easier because you are sitting in the correct driving position. The leather and cloth combination seat trim, front and rear chrome bumper strip and shark fin antenna adds a superior styling quality overall.
The latest KODO design of the Mazda 2 further enhances the width, stability and elegance with its new 15-inch silver metallic wheels on the Dynamic model and high-gloss painted 16-inch wheels from the Individual model.
An expanded range of advanced safety features now includes LED headlamps fitted as standard. Auto folding mirrors, reverse camera with parking sensors for extra caution comes with the Individual model and rear cross traffic alert on the Hazumi model.
