Mazda Mazda MX-30 makes its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show
Mazda Motor Corporation is going green and will be unveiling its first crossover electric vehicle (EV) , the Mazda MX-30 at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. The show will be open to the public from 25 October – November 2019.
The MX-30 is a new addition to Mazda’s car lineup and is the automakers’ third new-generation model. The aim of this model is to offer an experience that allows the occupants to relax and be themselves while driving.
The model offers a time for creativeness and space inviting new ways of using a vehicle, deepening the bond between the owner and the car.
With a unique artistic value, the MX-30 aims to raise the potential and expand the expressive range of Mazda’s Kodo – ‘Soul of Motion design language’.
Based on a ‘Human Modern’ concept, the design stays perfectly grounded. Its design has similar forms to a Kodo, yet aligns itself with new lifestyles and will be changing values.
The interior boasts a large amount of space. The centre console gives the cabin an open feel, materials used inside are cork and fabrics that have been recycled and used in ways that bring out a natural appeal. The MX-30 has freestyle centre-opening double doors.
The Mazda engineers were determined to deliver the same driving joy and experience in the electric vehicle that every other Mazda model offers and the MX-30 has adopted the new electric-drive technology, e-Skyactiv, delivering outstanding performance that drivers can enjoy according to Mazda.
