Michael Schumacher’s medical documents get stolen
Yesterday, we updated you about Michael Schumacher’s medical condition, and now it’s said that his medical documents were stolen to be sold to the media. Some people just have no regard for others, do they?
The F1 driver’s spokesperson, Sabine Kehm, says that the medical documents have been ”on sale” to media sources for days, and it is evident that the documents have been stolen. The files are thought to have been stolen from his hospital in Grenoble. His medical files have reportedly been offered for around €50,000 (R719 245) and contained details of surgical procedures.
“We expressly advise that both the purchase and the publication of such documents and data is forbidden. The contents of any medical files are totally private and confidential and must not made available to the public. We will therefore, in every single case, press for criminal charges and damages against any publication of the content or reference to the medical file,” said Kehm.
