N1 at standstill in support of farmers for Black Monday
This morning, (Monday 30 October 2017) motorists and protestors have gathered on the N1 and N4 near Stellenbosch, in memory of the murdered farmers for Black Monday.
Activists are protesting against further attacks on farmers and farm workers across the country, following the murder of Klapmuts farmer, Joubert Conradie.
The demonstration has been organised by a group under the banner “Genoeg is Genoeg” (enough is enough).
Since this morning’s gathering the N1 has reportedly come to a standstill.
