A 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine powers the new Mustang Shelby, delivering a total of 615 kW enabling the model to reach 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
To ensure reliability and consistent performance, there is a new cooling system comprising a new radiator, aluminium tanks and heat exchanger.
The Shelby Track Handling package has new high-performance tyres for the 20-inch one-piece forged aluminium wheels. Red callipers reveal the brake system of the Shelby with improved cool, allowing the brakes to perform well for a longer period of time.
The Shelby Super Snake Speedster
“The most striking derivative of the 2021 Super Snake is the new Speedster,” mentions Peter Lindenberg.
This Edition transforms a Mustang Convertible into a two-seat roadster with a hard top tonneau system. Only 25 units will be built and it comes with Speedster Edition floor mats and door sill plates.
Interior
The interior has a unique experience. Shelby floor mats and door sills are featured as well as a new cluster and gauges. Carroll Shelby Mustang (CSM) numbering is on the dashboard as well as the engine bay and the number will be documented on the official Shelby registry. If you would like to save some weight, the rear seat can be removed and a harness bar will replace it.
Both the Shelby Super Snake coupe and Shelby Speedster are now available to order in South Africa.
