The Nissan NP200 recently won the IPSOS Quality Awards for the fourth year running, as well as recognition in the Kinsey Report for class-leading low running costs.
The upgrade features new upholstery, new audio on specific models and a refreshed centre console.
The new interior trim has been chosen to integrate perfectly with the black carpets and create a luxury feel inside the cabin. The base models feature a new, hard-wearing, black textured fabric with vinyl inlay on the seat bolsters and sides.
On the mid-range model Nissan NP200 – a younger-looking, more modern, black and grey patterned fabric on the seats and door panels has been chosen. This is complemented by black woven cloth on the seat bolsters and black vinyl inlays on the seat backs.
All mid and high-grade models also receive a new audio system that offers not only radio, CD and MP3 options, but also a USB port, audio jack and Bluetooth functionality.
As a further improvement, Nissan has redesigned the controls for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. The premium-look controls are now black only with chrome surrounds, which is reminiscent of the Nissan passenger and crossover vehicle ranges.
Production of the upgraded NP200 has already started and the first models are expected at Nissan dealers across South Africa before the holiday season.
