Nissan's electric camper van is the stuff of dreams

Nissan unveiled its electric e-NV200 winter camper concept van and it is the ultimate adventure vehicle.

The car manufacturer is making moves to protect the environment in all areas of production. The camper van is completely electric and boasts a number of exciting amenities.

“Inspired by the exhilaration of wintertime exploration, Nissan today unveiled its vision for sustainable adventuring: the all-electric e-NV200 Winter Camper concept van. Designed to maximize excitement while minimizing environmental impact, the e-NV200 Winter Camper combines the thrill of electric driving with the spirit of the wild. With a host of bespoke driving and lifestyle features, it’s primed to tackle tough terrains,” said Nissan in a statement. 

For the European market, there is a custom Nissan Camper Technology Luxury Kit, which is available for the e-NV200 van and e-NV200 Evalia passenger van.

The aim of the camper van is to maximise comfort and offer a variety of amenities that will support a self-sufficient lifestyle.

“Solar panels on the roof can recharge the onboard 220-volt power pack. The integrated kitchen, refrigerator, folding beds and insulated glass make life on the open road possible in any environment,” the statement continued.

“Electric mobility is all about offering an exciting experience behind the wheel, while above all remaining conscious of our impact on the environment,” said Dmitry Busurkin, divisional general manager for light commercial vehicles at Nissan Europe.

“Imbued with the essence of adventure and thrilling electrified power, the Nissan e-NV200 Winter Camper concept van is an optimistic expression of the future of zero-emission mobility.”
