Petrol price predicted to increase in March

March is shaping up to be slightly more expensive for motorists. Mid-month data from the Central Energy Fund (CEF) suggests yet another hike in fuel prices is on the cards for March 2021.

According to the CEF, prices are expected to rise by 56 cents per litre and 54 cents per litre for Petrol 95 and Petrol 93 respectively. Diesel 0.05% and Diesel 0.005% is predicted to be slightly more costly, with an increase of 45 cents per litre and 47 cents per litre respectively. Illuminating paraffin will likely also rise by 40 cents per litre.

These are, however, just mid-month estimates and may be different by the time official prices are confirmed at the end of the month, depending on worldwide trends.
