This is how not to drive your Porsche Taycan

Porsche ramps over wall and into another car

In a video that has gone viral, a driver of a Porsche Taycan lost control of his vehicle and ramped it off a sloped driveway into a parked car. The driver allegedly hit the accelerator pedal by mistake.

The base Porsche Taycan 4S retails for $103,800 (R1,596,153). The midrange Taycan Turbo costs $150,900 (R2,320,420) and the top-spec Taycan Turbo S raises the price to $185,000 (R2,844,782). It is unclear which model is in the video.

Taycans are fully-electric and move from zero to just under 100km/h in just 2.8 seconds.

The footage was captured by CCTV cameras and shows the driver attempting to park. The accident occurred in Manningtree, Essex in the UK according to The Sun.

The car can be seen moving slowly up the driveway and stops, before unexpectedly swerving and hitting a black SUV, then veering into another parked car and onto the road. The driver was unscathed but the same can’t be said for his car.
