Price for the refreshed Volkswagen Tiguan released
The Volkswagen Tiguan will go on sale in South Africa in Namibia and Botswana from July 1 2021. The SUV was first launched in 2008 and the third generation derivative sold over six million units globally and 41 000 units in South Africa.
According to Quickpic, the Volkswagen Tiguan was the best-selling medium SUV in South Africa in 2020 with 4280 units sold and a 16.2% share of the A SUV segment.
The new Tiguan joins the T-Cross, T-Roc, Tiguan Allspace and the Toureg in Volkswagen’s T-SUV range in South Africa. The medium SUV will be available in the following derivatives; 1.4-litre, TSI 110 kW, 1.4-litre, TSI 110 kW DSG Life, 1.4-litre TSI 110 kW DSG.
In the fourth quarter of this year, an R-Line, 2.0-litre 130 kW 4MOTION DSG and top of the range 2.0-litre TSI 162 kW 4MOTION R-Line will be available.

The Tiguan comes with a standard 3-year / 12 000 km warranty, a 5-year / 90 000 km Volkswagen Service Plan and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty.
