Are you ready for the new C-Class Estate?
What this new model has in common with its highly successful sedan sibling is a clear and sporty design along with innovative engineering. Technical features include efficient, new engines and high-quality, refined interiors giving a tangible feeling of modern luxury.
The C-Class Estate is also super spacious. It shines due to its large cargo volume and high level of variability. The growth spurt also involves the load compartment. The sporty rear of the new C-Class Estate provides a maximum load capacity of 1510 litres, which is ten litres more than the previous model. The load compartment volume behind the rear seats has increased by five litres to 490 litres.
“South Africans are known for their active lifestyle and we see this new C-Class Estate, similar to its predecessors, also becoming a popular choice among customers. Mercedes-Benz offers three model derivatives for customers to select; the C 180 and the C 200 petrol models and the economical diesel model, the C 250 BlueTEC,” says Selvin Govender, Divisional Manager, Product and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz Cars.
With straightforward sportiness, thrilling flowing lines and high-grade materials on the level of a luxury vehicle, the ambience is modern, luxurious and at the same time sporty. In addition to the base model, there are also three distinct design and equipment lines each for the exterior and interior.
The powerful and efficient petrol and diesel engines with ECO start/stop function ensure sporty performance and driving enjoyment.
Top-class safety is a feature of the C-Class Estate and the latest safety systems, collision prevention assist plus and attention assist is already part of the standard equipment. It can help to avoid rear-end collisions – by way of autonomous brake application if necessary.
As with all Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, the C-Class Estate comes standard with 6-years/100 000 km maintenance plan.
