Remember the Aston Martin from Goldfinger? Well it’s been missing for 17 years
The James Bond movies have been synonymous with luxury cars, especially Aston Martin, and Goldfinger was no different. One of the most famous cars from this series was the Aston Martin DB5 and according to Autoblog, it has been missing for the past 17 years with no leads as to its whereabouts.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the original release of Goldfinger which was the third film to come out of the James Bond series. After its movie debut, the original gadget car ended up in Boca Raton, FL, till about 1997. Then, like in true movie style, it was heisted and has never been seen since.
If that car was found, intact, it could be worth a small fortune today. To give you an idea, the DB5 that appeared in Thunderball sold for $4.6 million in 2010.
