Renault Duster Oroch may still be coming to SA

South Africans who are hoping for a new bakkie to enter the market may be in for s surprise, as Renault SA said it may still be planning to introduce the Duster Oroch in 2021.
Some may have lost faith that the model will be introduced here, however, as Renault announced back in 2018 that it is planning on launching the Duster Oroch to the local market in 2020.
While Renault SA did not go into specifics, there are yet-to-be-revealed plans for a second-generation Oroch which the company hopes to bring to South African car-lovers next year.
The Romanian Dacia revealed a single-cab pick-up truck based on the latest Duster design late in 2020, it is not yet clear whether the Renault version will soon follow suit.
Bakkie lovers will just have to wait and see how the cards are dealt.
