SA’s female racing star to burn the track in Mahikeng
This weekend sees Clare Vale take her Liqui-Moly Mustang to Mahikeng for SupaDrift 7. The track is a paved circuit in the shadow of the Mmabatho Stadium, and the event draws one of the biggest crowds of the SupaDrift season. After an unlucky weekend at the previous round at The Rock, where Clare’s engine broke a rocker on the line just before qualifying, she’ll be keen to get back into the Top 16.
Clare Vale on the event: ”I’ve always believed it’s important that we take Motorsport to the people, so the Mahikeng Supadrift event is one of my favourites. It takes place in front of the Mmabatho football stadium and we have a street parade through the town on Friday – the local support is fantastic! I’m super keen to get back in the Liqui-Moly drift Mustang and I’m sure we’ll have a great weekend.”
