Subaru SA extends maintenance plan on all new models
Subaru South Africa has launched an extended 5-year/120 000 km comprehensive Maintenance Plan offered on selected new Subaru models.
All Subaru models are offered a 3-year/75 000 km Maintenance Plan, this limited offer has been introduced covering all servicing as well as maintenance and mechanical repairs as a result of normal wear and tear.
The plan includes Subaru Assist roadside service, which includes emergency and map assistance, and is offered at no additional cost to the customer and forms part of a new Subaru model retail price.
Subaru SA Marketing Lead, Nteo Nkoli says, “Maintenance Plans afford our customers additional peace of mind and confidence in owning a new Subaru. We’re constantly assessing how we can further our customer’s ‘Confidence in Motion’ and this is yet another way we can do that. It also offers better value for money especially during the economically challenging conditions facing South Africa right now.”
With the 5-year/120 000 km Maintenance Plan, all new Subaru models are warrantied against any defect in material or workmanship of five years or 150 000km, whichever comes first.
Nteo adds, “ We are aware of a lot of customers who make the mistake of thinking that Maintenance Plans are the same as Service Plans. These are very different programs and certainly, our Maintenance Plan is far more comprehensive and safer for the consumer.”
Service Plans cover costs of services as per the vehicle handbook, whereas a Maintenance Plan covers the wear items of a vehicle such as brakes, shocks, windscreen wipers and more.
The nationwide Maintenance Plan offer is a limited-time offer on selected new Subaru models and should be considered before stock runs out.
