The new-look Yaris unveiled
Toyota has upgraded its Yaris and hopes to embark on a new era when it’s introduced onto the local market during the second half of 2014.
The recently released images show the new design with its “family look” which is evident in cars like the Auris, Corolla and the all-new Aygo.
The key elements of Toyota’s design are being introduced, such as a full-width upper grille that extends into new triangular headlamps. It incorporates a deeper front bumper with a large trapezoidal lower intake. The upgrade also brings revised rear styling including new tail lamps.
A 1.0- and 1.33-litre petrol engine as well as Toyota’s flagship full hybrid system is on offer.
