Updated Range Rover Evoque Pure
The Range Rover Evoque Pure will be the first SUV in South Africa to be introduced with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The main benefit of this is a lower fuel consumption. For the SD4 turbodiesel we see a five percent reduction in fuel consumption and a four percent drop in CO2 emissions.
It’s not only the engine that has been upgraded but the Pure now offers new driver assistance systems which include Park Exit (to automatically exit parallel parking bays) and Perpendicular Park (to position the car centrally in parking bays).
The Evoque Pure can be identified by its 18-inch “Sparkle Silver” alloy wheels and badging in black. The comfort features include leather upholstery, a 380 Watt Meridian sound system, cruise control, a multifunction steering wheel and USB and Bluetooth connectivity. It also boasts keyless entry, front park distance control and front fog lamps.
It will be offered with either a 2,2 diesel or 2,0 petrol engine. Pricing will only be confirmed in March but it’s looking like the Si4 petrol engine will retail for around R598 000 and the SD4 turbodiesel for R602 000.
