Dramatic first-person experience of cyclist getting doored

A cyclist was cycling in NYC heading up to Union Square, all the while narrowly missing jay-walking pedestrians and sliding in between cars and then, he gets hit by a taxi door.

The story doesn’t end there. Everyone starts playing the blame game. The cyclist blames the taxi for letting passengers exit into the bike lane, the driver blames the passenger because he claims he told her to check for bicyclists, the passengers start crying and insist she never heard the warning, and then some random guy blames the entirety of society for not paying attention because they are too busy ”Googling”.
