Eyewitness footage of the horrific crash in Alberton

The truck that plowed in to morning traffic in Alberton on the N12 East yesterday morning has left four people dead and many injured.
An eyewitness captured this footage and one can see the utter carnage that was left in the truck’s wake.
The company the truck belonged to, Benusi Cargo Carriers, is under investigation. As the road was reopened traffic authorities found another truck from this same company to be unroadworthy and taken it off the road.
The truck driver admitted that the brakes had failed. He remains in custody. Police say the driver could face murder or culpable homicide and an additional charge of reckless and negligent driving.
