Female driver gets fright of her life when snake pops out from car bonnet

It’s not too uncommon to hear stories about snakes that make their way into the bonnets of cars in South Africa. But this woman got the fright of her life while driving along the highway at 100km/h when all of a sudden a red-bellied black snake popped up to say hello from her car bonnet.
According to reports on social media the female driver drove with it on her bonnet for an hour, before it emerged even further. She eventually pulled over and left her Pajero Sport in a paddock to give the snake a chance to escape.
