The new Mini Clubman to debut at Geneva
It may have larger exterior dimensions but it is instantly recognisable as typical Mini. Adrian van Hooydonk, head of BMW Group Design says, “The MINI Clubman Concept shows how the Mini Clubman could be taken a step further: more interior space, a greater sense of high-end quality and yet still clever, bold and distinctive. In short: more car, more MINI.”
The classics are still there such as the hexagonal radiator grille, circular headlamps and roof. Step inside and some unusual materials have been used such as the nubuck leather in a slight “Sky Blue”, patent leather in rich “Berry Red” and soft black nappa leather.
We will see the new Clubman concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
