Ford expected to make an announcement today regarding Kuga saga
We have been reporting on this since last year after the safety of the Ford Kuga was called in to question when a man lost his life as his vehicle burst in to flames. Since then, more than 45 cases of cars catching fire have been reported over the past year in the country.
Ford has been criticised for the way it is handling the matter and for not recalling the vehicles sooner.
According to EWN, with the pressure mounting for Ford to deal with problems involving its Kuga model, the car manufacturer and the National Consumer Commission are due to make, what they say, is an important announcement on Monday regarding the future of the vehicle.
Dr David Klatzow is a forensic scientist working on the case.
He says he hopes the car manufacturer will deal with the issue once and for all.
“Let’s get to the truth, that’s really what one wants to get at. What actually happened?”
We will keep you updated.
