Citroen C3 receives a makeover for 2021

The Citroen C3 hatchback model has been given a whole new look for 2021 and will make its way to South African shores in May, says IOL.

The changes were mainly made on the front-end of the car, with a new grille and bumper design with two-tier headlights. The rear end, as well as the cabin, remains the same.

The C3 offers a line-up with two model choices:

1.2-litre priced at R269 900 and a turbocharged 1.2-litre for R324 900.

The model comes in a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine delivering 60 kW with 118 Nm of torque while the turbo version delivers 81 kW with 205 Nm of torque. The standard 1.2 is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox while the turbo version is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Both models come with automatic climate control, cruise control, leather-covered multi-function steering wheel, six airbags, ESP stability control, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Alert, Tyre Pressure Monitoring and Speed Limit Recognition.

Both are sold with a three-year/60 000km service plan and five-year/100 000km warranty.
