New data suggests most diesel cars are over emission limits!
A new study conducted by the Consumer Group revealed that 95% of diesel vehicles produced well over the emission limits for their class.

Some of Britain’s most popular cars were found to be producing up to 15 times the official emission limits. Some of these include the Mini Cooper and the Jeep Grand Cherokee!
The analysis of carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions was conducted on over 300 vehicles, for which 95% were found to be in breach of pollution limits.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported to be the worst-performing diesel car in terms of NOx emissions. Producing over fifteen times the amount required to meet the European maximum emission limits.
However it is not only diesel cars that were over the emission limits, two-thirds of petrol cars were emitting over the required level. Some of these were worse than others, with the Hyundai Veloster reaching over six times the limit!
