Honda Trade Up: Encouraging the purchase of new vehicles

Honda Motor Southern Africa announced a targeted trade support campaign on Thursday, February 18. Two of the manufacturers most popular models, the BR-V and Jazz Sport, are highlighted.

Consumers who want to trade up to a new BR-V or Jazz Sport will receive R25,000 and R20,000 in trade support respectively.

The Trade Up campaign provides consumers with the maximum degree of flexibility. Consumers may choose to take the assistance as cash back, or they may use the funds as a deposit on the vehicle or to pay for vehicle insurance.

According to Dinesh Govender, Honda General Manager Automobiles and Corporate, the limited-time offer comes off the back of an increase in consumer interest in new vehicles, tempered by continued economic uncertainty.

“This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to trade up to a brand-new, high-quality Honda BR-V or Jazz Sport. Honda is well-known for the quality and reliability of its vehicles. These qualities result in a lower long-term cost of ownership and more peace of mind. The Trade Up campaign provides consumers who may have had to settle for second-best with an opportunity to join the Honda family. The Trade Up campaign also makes it easier for consumers to purchase the new car of their dreams.”

The BR-V, a versatile 7-seater compact SUV aimed at families and outdoor enthusiasts, has been one of Honda’s most consistent top performers. The 2020 model update includes a number of subtle interior and exterior design changes, featuring enhanced styling, functionality, on-road driveability and comfort. The BR-V comes with a number of popular features, including LED Daytime running lights, smart keyless entry and 7-inch touchscreen display audio*

The Jazz Sport has gained a loyal following for its distinctive aero package and powerful engine, featuring Earth Dreams technology. The current model features an upgraded, specially-adapted Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), all contributing to exciting responsiveness.

Both the BR-V and the Jazz Sport come standard with a five-year / 200 000 km warranty and three-year AA Roadside Assist. A four-year / 60 000 km extended service plan is included on all new BR-V Comfort and Elegance models as well as on the Jazz Sport.

The offer is valid whilst stocks last and expires at the end of March 2021. Visit www.honda.co.za for full terms and conditions and a list of participating dealers.
