Matric bus thief offered free driving lessons!
The bus thief – who only stole the school bus to get himself and follow students to their exam on time, has been offered free driving lessons!
As a nice ending to this story, Hawston Secondary School pupil, Le-Aan Adonis, 20, has been swamped by offers to help after the story of the Matric bus thief reached the public.
About to renew your license? Do you know the new rules?
Adonis shot to fame after he decided to take matters into his own hands when the school bus driver failed to show up. Rather than missing the exam, he took it upon himself to get everyone to the exam
A former Western Cape police officer, Advocate Lennit Max has even offered to represent Adonis at the school’s disciplinary hearing and handle any other legal matters.

Adonis, who can drive a bus like a pro – doesn’t yet have his license. He is however in the process of getting his Code 14 Learner’s License. Sydney Armoed, owner of Sydney’s Driving School in Caledon, offered his services free of charge.
“The story touched me because this learner could have decided not to put his future on the line by driving the bus.”
“Although I don’t condone what he did, I admire him for taking the risk to ensure that he and the other learners were on time for their exam,”
stated Sydney.
