The all-new Haval H2
Haval Motors SA introduced their first mid-size SUV the H2 to South Africa in May 2017, the second generation has just arrived on our shores. Haval has seen phenomenal growth in our market, offering a value-for-money option in the SUV segment.
Their popularity is reflected in the sales growth, from a paltry 34 units in June 2017 to selling 464 alone in December 2019, averaging out at 400-odd units a month.
Haval focused on making their new H2 a bit more stylish with a luxurious interior. There is more storage room than before for all things needed on your journey.
The H2 retains the engine from the previous generation, the four-cylinder, 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox, delivering 105 kW and 2020 Nm of torque. Thanks to its SUV suspension, the H2 should feel more solid on the road without feeling the ruts and bumps.
The interior features soft-touch materials, high-gloss finishes and atmosphere lighting. Technological features include mood lighting, the 3D, multi-functional dashboard. This shows your every day driving information, fuel consumption, remaining fuel range, along with the latest technological entertainment options. You can access your iPhone safely while driving thanks to Apple CarPlay.
The H2 features a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) which monitors the pressure of your all your tyres while driving and will detect any abnormalities to your tyre pressure. The new H2 features keyless entry, advanced radio frequency identification technology, and allows the chipset within the car key to automatically lock and unlock the doors with a touch of the handle, or as it’s commonly known – keyless entry.
We look forward to seeing what the new H2 will do for the Haval brand, there’s no doubt that it will continue the trajectory of success.
