Hyundai Mini 45 EV is more functional than it is adorable

Electric vehicles are slowly taking over the world. Hyundai have released details of the Mini 45,  an EV for kiddies.

The car is equipped with Emotion Adaptive Vehicle Control (EAVC) technology. This is AI-based tech that enhances the vehicle environment based on the driver’s mood, according to Slash Gear.

Hyundai are developing the technology in collaboration with MIT Media Lab. EAVC takes information from inside and outside the vehicle. It monitors facial expressions, heart rate, respiratory rate and so on and combines this with input from the vehicle. These inputs include speed, acceleration, noise and vibrations.

The vehicle, with its novelty adorableness, is actually designed to be used as a support for treating children in hospital, specifically at the Hospital Sant Joan Deu Barcelona through the ‘Little Big e-Motion’ project.

Take a look at the little vehicle below.
