Range Rover Sport SVR Carbon Edition to launch in SA

Land Rover has given its high-performance Range Rover SVR yet another sportier, upgraded look with its all-new Carbon Edition and will soon be available to South African customers.
The SVR is the most powerful Land Rover ever produced. Designed, engineered and developed by Special Vehicle Operations and hand-finished in the UK.
The new Carbon Edition Range Rover SVR’s exterior boasts its carbon fibre look that is exposed on the centre section of its bonnet with integrated cooling vents.
Carbon trim has been added to the surrounding areas of the bumper vents, the main grille, lower grille, side mirror covers, the rear and its engine cover.
The front bumper had a makeover and now has more vents in it to improve the cooling of the brakes.
It has lightweight 22-inch alloy wheels in a Gloss Black colour, mated to body-coloured detailing at the rear and instead of the usual Land Rover badge, the model boasts an SVR badge.
The interior of the Range Rover SVR is finished in Windsor leather featuring heated seats in the front and the rear with SVR logos on its headrests.
It has a 5.-litre supercharged V8 engine pushing out 423kW with 700Nm of torque. This is one of Land Rover’s most powerful engine in history. The SUV goes from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 283 km/h.
The Range Rover SVR’s price is R2.831 000 and is offered with a standard Land Rover Care plan with a 100 000 km warranty and service within a period of five years.
New or Approved Pre-Owned Land Rover customers in South Africa all receive complimentary driver training at the state-of-the-art Experience Johannesburg facility in Lonehill, Johannesburg.
